Jen Kim has a BA in Sociology from UCLA and will be attending Georgetown University to pursue a Masters degree in Journalism. She has worked as an SAT tutor and a freelance writer, providing columns for Sexypolitics.com and BehindtheHype.com, where she is a social commentary writer. Fun fact: Jen got 14 leech bites (2 in a very scary place) while volunteering in Nepal.
Dave Levitan has a B.A. in English from Haverford College, and he will soon complete a graduate program in science, health and environmental journalism at New York University. He has written extensively for medical newspapers like Pain Medicine News and Endocrine Today, as well as for environmental politics blog RedGreenAndBlue.org. Fun fact: Dave once jumped off a cliff in Switzerland.
ChiChi Madu earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Cornell and a master's degree in journalism from Medill. At Cornell he worked in a social psychology lab, and at Northwestern he spent much of his time covering mental health issues.
Sonya Sobieski has an A.B. in English and Theatre from Smith College and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Brooklyn College. Sonya worked as an off-Broadway dramaturg and lecturer in English before taking courses in copyediting and newspaper/magazine journalism at NYU and the New School. She teaches playwriting at Hunter College and NYU. Fun fact(s): she's an open water scuba diver and a mom.
